One of the greatest pleasures to experience during a stay in London, it is also to make a city tour in the dusk when the finest best sights and monuments are illuminated by beautiful soft colors and the lights give the city a magical side. I do not pretend to be a photo specialist at nearby contrary, I have always found that I succeed better my pictures at dawn or dusk when the sun was still floating slightly city … but it is difficult to capture photos on different sites with the colors of dusk because when you move from one point to another, it’s already dark so today I you takes this night walk to explore London all lit up at night.
To follow a linear route, we will start with a departure from the Knights bridge tube station to admire the large building that houses the Harrods pretty sight with its lights twinkling in the night … Then continue to the Green Park close to Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly circus with its huge giant screens, Leicester Square and Soho beating heart of the city.
From here down to Embankment to admire the illuminated fountains of Trafalgar Square, along the extension of the Thames from the Jubilee Bridge; this is in my opinion the best place to see the London Eye with its soft lights reflected on the Thames … the majestic Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament are not left out either, quickly we notice that it ‘ is also the favorite spot of amateur photographers and professionals alike.
Continue the ride to the Blackfriars tube station, the bridge, the Blackfriars bridge offers a different perspective on the buildings of London with The Gherkin, The Walkie Talkie, the Sky and The Leadenhall garden building more known as . of cheese grater Building that can take a picture together with the Holy Cathedral dome Paul’s using the panoramic effect Millenium Bridge also offers a soft light to our goal and the globe Shakespeare – continue to walk the London bridge to admire the Shard and Tower Bridge illuminated; the legendary bridge provides several absolutely beautiful view.
From there, take the metro at London Bridge Station (Jubilee Line) or take the DLR at Tower Gateway Station and get off at Canary Wharf; then you find yourself in East London in the business district of the same name famous . for its skyline along the Thames This is a perfect area to take beautiful pictures of the towers of Canary Wharf which stand proudly to the sky while reflecting on the Thames.
Continue the ride along the Thames towards North Greenwich and to meet the famous theater, cultural and sports multiplex that is beautifully lit O2 Arena at night and admire the spectacle of the cabins of the cable car Emirate Air Line dancing around the O2 Arena Millennium dome room, where artists from around the world perform regularly.
Finally, if you prefer to do this walk quietly in an open bus, away from the street mazes, subway and foot rest, know that there are tours by bus to London by night, where you could admire quietly London by night when the lights twinkle on the most prestigious sites in the city. These guided tours are organized around 1:30 every day except christmas day and December 31 from the exit of the subway station Green Park.
